So, I haven’t been on here in forever but I wanted to give
you all another little update! I have finally edited my first scene at university
and I am majorly proud of it! I am uploading it to youtube as we speak but it
is going to take approximately 80 minutes which is a bit of a joke as I want to
go to bed :( as I am waiting for it to upload I’m watching ‘’the descendant’s’’
which is turning into a really good film, I recommend that everyone watches it.
Along with Amelie, as that is like my favourite film ever at the moment I think!
It’s French but has subtitles and is really easy watching. It’s really quirky
and clever.
But yeah, my editing... I spoke to my lecturers about it and
got feedback and they were really pleased too which makes me even happier about
it! Apparently my sound was one of the best in the class and they didn’t
believe I have never edited something on my own before which made me happy. I have
also never used Final Cut Pro X before in my life! Which as a new version of
the software is not that bad, once you get your head around it is actually not
that hard. I picked up quite a few sneaky tips through the learning process and
have learnt some things. So all in all it was a pretty good lesson learnt. And I
am extremely pleased!
